I painted this for my Uncle, as a gift for his wedding. It seems to run in the family for us liking Doctor Who. The background looks like crap but I like how the Tardis turned out. My inner fangirl is squeeling at how it turned out.
It took about 30 minutes to draw properly, then about 2 minutes to oultine the tardis in black sharpie. Followed by a single layer of acrylic paint which took about maybe 30-40 minutes, clean up took longer.... DAMN PAINT DRIP!!. Add about an hour drying time, plus the extra 20 minutes of re-outlining the black lines, and writing the "Police public call box," and having to wait for an extra thing of black to dry on the Police part because I wrote "Public Box" cause I'm dumb and was watching Doctor Who season 4 DVD on my TV. So after all that it took about.... oh I'd say around 3 hours...
Oh well it was worth it!
